यह पाठ्यक्रम भारतीय संविधान की मूलभूत अवधारणाओं और उसकी कार्यप्रणाली को समझाने पर केंद्रित है। इसमें संविधान के निर्माण का इतिहास, इसकी प्रस्तावना, मूल संरचना, मौलिक अधिकार एवं कर्तव्य, तथा राज्य नीति के निदेशक तत्वों का अध्ययन किया जाता है। इसके अतिरिक्त, केंद्र सरकार की संरचना, राष्ट्रपति, प्रधानमंत्री, लोकसभा एवं राज्यसभा की भूमिका को भी कवर किया गया है। राज्य सरकार में राज्यपाल, मुख्यमंत्री और राज्य सचिवालय की भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला गया है। स्थानीय प्रशासन के अंतर्गत जिला प्रशासन, नगर निगम एवं जिला पंचायत की संरचना और कार्यों को समझाया गया है। अंत में, निर्वाचन आयोग, मुख्य निर्वाचन आयुक्त और राज्य निर्वाचन आयोग की भूमिका एवं कार्यप्रणाली का अध्ययन शामिल है।

This course focuses on understanding the fundamental concepts and functioning of the Indian Constitution. It covers the history of the making of the Constitution, its Preamble, basic structure, Fundamental Rights and Duties, and Directive Principles of State Policy. Additionally, it explains the structure of the Union Government, including the role and powers of the President, Prime Minister, Lok Sabha, and Rajya Sabha. The course also discusses the State Government, covering the Governor, Chief Minister, and State Secretariat. Local Administration topics include District Administration, Municipal Corporation, and District Panchayat. Finally, it examines the role and functioning of the Election Commission, Chief Election Commissioner, and State Election Commission.
